Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish was founded in San Diego, CA in October of 2015. We are currently based in Brandon, FL and are loving life in Central Florida.
Our brand is the embodiment of an artistic appreciation of poetry, country, all things dusty and vintage, and quality craftsmanship paired with the aesthetic of a by-gone era. Wild West shoot out meets fancy tea parlor. We care about the quality of the ingredients we put on our bodies, and the ethics of where those ingredients come from, and we are careful to source only the best to deliver quality products to you.
Our nail polishes are cruelty free, gluten free, vegan friendly*, and free from Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Camphor, Formaldehyde Resin, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide, Parabens, Phthalates, and fragrance. We advertise our polishes as 5-free. Although they actually fit the standard for 10-free, we feel that there is a limit to how much you can say isn't in your product before it gets a bit ridiculous. There is also no dirt or cheeseburgers in them!
*While we do not claim to be 100% vegan, all of our body products and most of our nail polishes are in fact vegan. Anything that is not vegan will have a disclaimer in the product listing. If you are interested in purchasing from us and have any questions about specific products or ingredients please feel free to contact us via email.
6/24/19 - We have recently discovered one of the pigments that we previously thought was vegan is not. Shellac was left off of the ingredients list by the manufacturer. At present the following polishes are not vegan:
In The Pool
Fields of Lavender
If you have previously purchased any of these polishes and vegan is a requirement for you please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to resolve this issue.
Please note, all orders are packed with care in a home shared with cats. While we do our best to package everything in a separate environment we cannot guarantee that a stray hair won't find its way into your package.
